Natsuki's Attempts to dress like a Japanese

I think everyone can guess from my name, Natsuki that I really like Japanese stuffs~ I love Japanese fashion too! Cute, Exaggerating, Subtle... etc... There are many ways to describe Japanese fashion. I love buying their magazines and get their freebies! But the content is also very useful to keep up with the trends.

Sadly, there is no winter in Singapore! However, I would still hope dress like a Japanese girl in those winter issues of magazines! So here are my attempts:

Took the photo above but miss out one important element: THE BAG! (see below)

TADA! I love my bag!
Oppps, I think this are quite costly! One very important point about Japanese Fashion: LAYERING!

I wore a cute pink tanktop beneath my lacy top. Btw, have you guys gone to take a look at Forever New at Raffles City! It is a apparel store from AU catering sizes up to UK16! Their cloths are super sweet and dreamy! But they are quite expensive as compared to New Look. But fret not, THEY ARE HAVING SALES NOW. Please go down! I got my sweet tank top from there! I am able to bit UK12 as it is very stretchy!

The pretty oversized top is from a push cart at Raffles City B1... They clothes there are so pretty! But mostly prices around $35-$40... Abit expensive but ehir clothes are really unique. I think I can fit in some as they are oversized! I bought the lace top w/o trying. I feel that is very Japanese and pretty!

In this winter season, winter prints and leopard prints sweaters are a big thing! But of cos if we were to wear sweaters in SG we will most like die from the heat. So why not go for accessories with winter prints like my bag from john little sale! Sadly, the sale is over. But you guys might be able to find it at John Little itself! I really love the bag although it cost me $32 bucks... I hadn't seen designs like this around!

For my bottom, I simply wore a denim shorts. Japanese girls will most like wear boots and to keep their legs warm... Some wear legging and socks with their shorts. In Singapore to keep us cool, I think most of us will prefer just wearing shorts! Haha!

To complete the Japanese look, I tied my hair a low ponytail which Japanese girls also do!

My rating for this look: 3 Stars! Problem lies on the bottom... wear just shorts is just too Singaporean! haha.

NEXT!
Sorry about my bare foot! Hahaha... I think this outfit is pretty formal provided you wear shoes on! haha. I love that vest from Orangebear! Japanese to the max!
One of my ASOS loots is this...Crochet Dress! I love it, It gives a very sweet feeling! The Crochet fabric is pretty! I would let my hair down for this outfit, to look more demure? haha... although I know I'm not demure at all!

Rating: 3 & 1/2 star! I can go to some formal dinner with this, there might be just 20% of chance people might mistook me as a Japanese and it costs me only around $50 for a decent looking and pretty dress and vest!

LAST ONE!

If one fine layering clothes too warm in this weather, what about layering your accessories? Got that scarf from Forever NEW for just $12.95! 50% off! I like the scarf alot! I layered it wit a candy necklace I got for $10 from CLICK!, a pretty unpopular shop in Tamp1. It just caught my eye anyway~

I was wearing my ASOS Tee mentioned before previously! Love it~ Though slightly big...
To complete the cute look, I tied up my hair as a bun, which is very very common in Japan. I did not put a big ribbon on top (many Japanese does) because I am already loaded with accessories.

Also,

I tried layering RINGS.
The rose ring is from Gmarket, and the white ribbon one is made by me! Anyone interested in the ribbon ring? I am able to make blur, white and pink! Contact me if you wish to buy from me!

Rating for the last outfit: 2 & 1/2 stars. Totally look like a Japanese wannabe~ HAHA...

So, what is your comments for my trials! Are you gjuys into Japanese Fashion? ^^
